For the Reconstruction Fund of the City of Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje County and Zagreb County, SLF Projekt d.o.o. prepared in October 2022 a structural condition assessment report for Kurija Fabijanec-Horvat, a manor house in Gornja Stubica. Built in 1882, the manor house is an individually protected cultural property (Z-4202) and a fine example of late neoclassical country house architecture.
At the inspection on 30 September 2022 the building was found to be severely damaged and partly collapsed, with a decayed roof structure and collapsed sections of the floors, so it could not be entered. The survey was carried out from outside: the external dimensions of the building were measured and the façades photographed. On the EMS-98 scale the building is unusable because of damage, and the report found that the structure could not be repaired by technically and economically justified measures and proposed its removal, subject to the consent of the competent conservation department.
